Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your adventure begins in Arusha, where you’ll meet your expert guide and prepare for your journey in a 4×4 Toyota Land Cruiser. Your destination is Tarangire National Park, a vast, diverse landscape known for its iconic baobab trees and large elephant herds. As you travel through the park, keep an eye out for herds of zebras, wildebeests, and giraffes gathering around the Tarangire River. This park is also home to more elusive species like the fringe-eared oryx and gerenuk. The open roof of your vehicle will offer fantastic wildlife views, enhancing your experience. After an exciting day of game viewing, you’ll head to Sangaiwe Tented Lodge for a peaceful night under the stars.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, your journey takes you from Tarangire to the iconic Serengeti National Park, renowned for its vast plains and extraordinary wildlife. As you travel, you’ll be treated to some of Tanzania’s most stunning landscapes. Upon arrival at Kati Kati Tented Camp, you’ll settle into your home for the next three nights. The camp’s location will be selected based on the time of year, ensuring the best possible chance of witnessing the Great Migration.

Day 3-4: Serengeti National Park

Over the next two days, you’ll fully immerse yourself in the wonders of the Serengeti, home to the Great Migration. With millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles moving across the plains, the Serengeti is a thrilling spectacle for wildlife lovers. Alongside your guide, you’ll track various animals and learn about their behaviors, movements, and ecosystems.

The diverse landscapes of the Serengeti offer excellent opportunities to witness a range of wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinoceros. Your Kati Kati Tented Camp will place you at the heart of the action, offering comfort and great views of the migration.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After an early breakfast, you’ll continue your adventure in the Seronera Valley of the Serengeti. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to witness dramatic predator-prey interactions as animals converge around the park’s water sources. From there, you’ll head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife.

You’ll overnight at Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp, perched on the Crater’s rim, offering stunning views of the vast landscape. Be sure to catch the sunset over this incredible natural wonder before heading to bed.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

On your final day, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as “Africa’s Garden of Eden.” This natural wonder is home to over 20,000 animals, including lions, elephants, rhinos, and cheetahs. Spend the day exploring the Crater’s rich wildlife and enjoy a picnic lunch in this extraordinary environment.

In the afternoon, you’ll begin your journey back to Arusha, where your adventure concludes in the early evening.
