Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Your adventure begins in the vibrant city of Arusha. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by your guide and transferred to your lodge where you can relax and prepare for the exciting days ahead. If time allows, take a leisurely stroll around town or unwind at your accommodation.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you’ll depart for Tarangire National Park, a prime safari destination known for its giant baobab trees and abundant elephant herds. Enjoy a thrilling game drive as you explore the park’s diverse wildlife, including giraffes, antelopes, lions, and leopards. Tarangire is also home to unique species like the fringe-eared oryx. After an exciting day, you’ll head to Sangaiwe Tented Lodge for an evening of relaxation.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park & Karatu

In the morning, you’ll make your way to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its flamingo-filled lake and tree-climbing lions. As you explore, you’ll also encounter giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, and other fascinating wildlife. Afterward, travel to the nearby town of Karatu and check in at Marera Valley Lodge, where you’ll enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by nature.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

This morning, you’ll journey to the iconic Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll catch a glimpse of the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival at the Serengeti, you’ll immediately be immersed in the park’s vast plains and abundant wildlife. Look for predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as large herds of wildebeests, gazelles, and zebras. Your home for the next two nights will be Kati Kati Tented Camp in the central Seronera Valley.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

Today is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti, one of the world’s most famous wildlife regions. With your guide, you’ll track the “Big Five”—lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinoceros—while learning about their behaviors and habitats. Depending on the time of year, you may also witness the awe-inspiring Great Migration. Return to your tented camp in the afternoon for a restful break before another game drive at sunset.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Following breakfast, you’ll enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before heading toward Ngorongoro Crater. After a picnic lunch, you’ll arrive at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where the incredible Ngorongoro Crater awaits. Known as “Africa’s Eden,” this UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to a stunning array of wildlife, including elephants, lions, and rare black rhinos. You’ll stay at Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp with panoramic views of the Crater rim.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater & Departure

Your final day begins with an early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. This unique ecosystem, surrounded by high cliffs, is teeming with wildlife, including lions, zebras, gazelles, and the endangered black rhino. After an unforgettable safari experience, enjoy a picnic lunch before ascending to the Crater rim and returning to Arusha. Depending on your flight time, you may have some leisure time in Arusha before your evening departure.
